Creative Washtenaw Votes! is a collaboration of The Arts Alliance, Creative Many Michigan and two Eastern Michigan University student groups: AMP: Amplifying the Arts and Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.

Sarah Triplett of Creative Many MI will lead the training for anyone intent on moving the creative sector agenda forward in the public and private arena in Washtenaw County. Learn about advocacy: what is it, how to do it and what are the pressing issues facing the industry on the federal, state and local levels.

This is your chance for a one on one conversation with candidates running for federal, state or local office in Washtenaw County in 2016.

David Fair will moderate a conversation with the candidates on how, if elected/re-elected, they will use their office to influence policy and investment in the creative sector to spur economic growth, strengthen education, retain talent and attract businesses, residents and visitors while building community quality of life and place.
